The mission of the Independence Chamber of Commerce is to provide leadership and service to promote the economic growth of Independence.

Program of Action

At a two-day planning session held in May, 2006, the Independence Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors outlined the Chamber’s plan of action for the years 2007 – 2011.

New Priorities Coming Soon!
May 11 &12, 2011 the Independence Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will reorganize the Chambers priorities for 2012-2019.

Board of Directors

The Independence Chamber of Commerce is governed by more than 650 member businesses who elect a 22-member board of directors that determines policies and sets goals.

Chamber Staff

The Independence Chamber of Commerce consist of dedicated employes that vary in skills, but share the common goal of making Independence a place for business and community to thrive.
