Places to Go - Halloween Parade

This annual event that began in 1948 offers local residents a unique Halloween celebration. The community parade is held on the Historic Independence Square and features nearly 1,000 participants including large commercial floats, local dance groups and classic cars – all showcasing their Halloween spirit. The Halloween parade celebrated its 85th anniversary on October 25, 2008.
