Parade

The Independence Chamber of Commerce holds an annual Halloween Parade on the Historic Independence Square.  The Halloween Parade consist of local businesses, organizations, and community leaders.  Would you like to be in the parade.  Please fill out 2011 Halloween Parade Application and review the Rules & Regulations.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treat from 2-3:30 p.m. at designated Square Merchants. Join the fun and enter the parade or be a spectator! *Deadline to enter the parade is October 15.  For more information call (816) 252-4745.

Monster Pumpkin Contest

Guess the correct weight of our monster pumpkin and win a $100 savings bond from Community America Credit Union!  Pumpkin on display and guesses accepted at
CommunityAmerica Credit Union inside HyVee at 23rd St. and Lee’s Summit Rd. October 18-28.
