Business Before & After Hours - Monthly

BBH & BAH are great networking events for members and guest to start/end their day.  Each event is located at the sponsor’s facility.  BBH’s start at 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. and BAH’s from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.  BBH & BAH alternate each month.  Food and beverage is provided by the sponsor.

Sponsorship Opportunities:

• Cost of sponsorship is $200. 
  
• The host is to provide the space to accommodate the group, as well as necessary food and beverage for event. You may expect from 30 to 75 to attend.
• A representative from your business will have an opportunity to showcase your company.
• Fifteen minutes before and after the program are allowed for guests to visit.
• The program is conducted by staff and volunteers, usually lasts approximately 20 minutes.
• Ambassadors and Chamber staff will greet guests as they arrive.
• Door prizes will be given out at the event.  Host business may give away door prizes, but not required.  Chamber will provide door prizes submitted by other chamber members.
• The Chamber will advertise the event to the membership through the Upcoming Events postcard, The Voice - Weekly Newsletter, email blast, Chamber’s website and announced at prior networking events.
• After the event, a photograph will be placed in The Voice Weekly Newsletter, submitted to local media and mention in the Quarterly Chamber News.
• Some host businesses give away door prizes, but that is not required.  The Chamber will provide door prizes donated by members.

Membership Luncheons - Monthly

Want to network with the movers and pushers of the community?  Luncheons are great opportunities for members to network with over 130 Chamber members.  Each luncheon consist of a sponsor, key speaker and lunch buffet.

Sponsorship Opportunities:

• Sponsorship cost is $575.  This includes lunches for four of your representatives
• Attendance varies from 130 to 145 at each monthly luncheon.
• The Chamber will advertise the event to the membership through the Upcoming Events postcard, The Voice - Weekly Newsletter, email blast, Chamber’s website and announced at prior networking events.
• Representatives from you business may act as greeters during the luncheon so you can make one to one contact with members.
• You may place promotional material at each place setting.
• You may provide door prizes if you wish, and may give them away at your appointed time on the agenda.
• Special seating will be available to you as sponsors of the event if you so choose.
• The Chamber will advertise the event to the membership through the Upcoming Events postcard, The Voice - Weekly Newsletter, email blast, Chamber’s website and announced at prior networking events.
• After the event, a photograph will be placed in The Voice Weekly Newsletter, submitted to local media and mention in the Quarterly Chamber News.

Mini Expo - October

The Mini Expo is held at the Metropolitan Community College – Blue River Campus.  This event hosts over 30 exhibitors that promote their company, products or services.  The event generally runs from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.  Exhibitors may purchase half tables (3’) for $30 or $60 for a full table (6’).

Business Expo - March

The Business Expo is one of the largest networking events that the Independence Chamber of Commerce hosts every year.  Over 60 exhibitors will participate in this event.  The goal of the Business Expo is to generate LEADS, EXPOSURE and SALES for our exhibitors.  The Business Expo provides a networking outlet to the business community.  Advertising for the event consist of online marketing including Chamber website, email blast and social sites.  Print advertising and 10,000 flyers are distributed to the Independence and surrounding metro.  Business Expo is held at the Hilton Garden Inn – Independence.
